Commission for ghostly-silence of her gorgeous character Messier and my fursona Zenith <3
Yes they're dating c: no, we aren't dating XD

It was really hard doing Messier's design as a pixel thingy XD I'm sorry if it looks bad ;o;
I really hope you like it though <3 thanks again for commissioning me! c:

Let me start this off my saying you have amazing pixel skills. Both characters are well drawn with beautiful shading. I especially like the feather-like shading on the right character (sorry, I can't remember their names). He looks very soft and nice to pet. The character on the left is also beautiful. You captured the starry night pattern wonderfully (I'm assuming that's what you were going for and that the stars aren't supposed to be speckles).

Now that I've said that, I would like to point out that the two characters don't feel very equal. I know this was a commission and that you were supposed to put these two together, but the contrast between them is rather stark. Because of how dark the left character is (hiding most of the fur shading), the right character seems almost overshaded. At the same time, the right character seems plain because of the natural yet simple fur pattern unlike the left character. Perhaps you could have beefed up the texture on the right character (or made the lightest highlights I can barely see a little lighter to draw them out more).

Other than that, the piece is beautiful. You should be very proud of your work!
